What is the best way to reach the Metro system from Orly?
Thanks for the Metro tip CocoChanel.
Just as easy, given the state of traffic once you get within the Paris ring road, is to get the Oryval shuttle train from either terminal. This takes you to Antony station on the RER suburban train network. From here, all northbound trains stop at 4 city stations which all connect with Metro lines - Denfert-Rochereau, Notre Dame-St Michel, Chatelet les Halles and Gare du Nord. The whole city is easily accessible from any one of these stations, and the whole journey will take around 30 minutes. Tickets are around Eur6, and can be purchased at the airport.
