Hotel in Paris in 9 or 18 e

Ciao Paris experts and Co.

I am going to Paris with my girlfriend at the end of next week. I am looking for a nice hotel, possibly in Montmartre (did I spell it correctly??) or 9e, with a budget of about 75-80EUR/night for a double room with bath-tub, any suggestions? Or do you think it is possible to have something like a studio or so, with a small kitchen, too? In this case I guess 90EUR/night would still be a good budget.

The 2 areas that I indictaed are not SO important. It was a suggestion from a friend who has been there some years ago, so if you have better suggestions, please let me know!

Thanks a lot!

I'd do a search with the following web page:

http://www.eurocheapo.com/paris/

Type in the area 'Montmartre/Opera' and see what you'll get. Since you're pretty late, some places may be fully booked already. As an alternative, you may find something around Montparnasse or even the Quartier Latin, the latter being very popular though. You may find it difficult to find anything in that price range.

As for the studio, I think you will have troubles finding anything for just 90E, particularly, if it's only for a couple of days. You can try Citadines, but I think they charge pretty much more.

Bonne chance!

Hotel du Vert Galant (or Hotel le Vert Galant)

A room with a kitchenette is about 100 Euro; it's in the 13th, by Gobelins... I don't know it personally. It looks like you'll need to reserve by fax or phone...

We actually stayed in the 9e when we went to Paris last year. Didn't really like it - it was sorta in the middle of an industrial area.

After wandering through the city, we later discovered it would have been nice to stay on the Left Bank -St Germain area, as it would have cost approximately the same as the hotel we had in 9e. Otherwise, if budget is not a concern - then 1e or anywhere close to that...
