Driving in Reim...

My husband and I will be traveling via car through France. Is there anything we should know before we set out on our journey? We are staying in Reim hoping traffic is civilized...

Here are some notes on driving in France: www.nickbooth.id.au/Tips/FrenchDrive.htm

Reims is a largish town. Parking may be difficult or expensive in the centre.

We have a self catering apartment with parking. Hopefully it will be easy to find. Thank you for the cool information on roads in France.

Things are much better in central Reims since the autoroute was rerouted... still busy at peak times, but much better.

Friday afternoon in particular is very busy but generally otherwise it's fine.

You probably know that you must have a warning triangle and reflective tabard for each passenger in the car. Breath test kits werw also mandatory for a while but I'm 99% sure this is no longer the case.
