Hello

Has anyone done the lunch they do hear matched with wine? They do tastings here but also a lunch matched with 12 tasting wines which seems to good to be trye at 50euro...The menu looked quite plain but that could just be the translation....

It looks a similar deal to Olivier Leflaive in Puligny Montrachet, which is on our list for lunch sometime http://www.maison-olivierleflaive.fr/

... and I just spotted some wine workshops which look good value too www.olivier-leflaive.com/article.php3…

Diz that looks really good. I liked the bit at the end of the menu that said a breathalyzer was available for drivers lol

Isn't there some provision in French law that the 'hosts' are responsible for ensuring that their guests are fit to drive? There was a big case about it when we were in France 2 or 3 years ago. I do get the impression that it's much easier than it used to be to get hold of half bottles in restaurants.

We went on a wine-tasting trip in Burgundy where the vigneron was bemoaning that the big community wine celebrations were a thing of the past, as they couldn't risk their driving licences by getting breathalysed.
