Want to stay a night in a castle, please

hello,

A family of 5 would like sto stay in Burgundy on the way back from Chamonix. We want to stay one night in a large castle, the larger and spookier the better. Turrets etc are de rigeur for this request.!! Any suggestions?

Check our Chateau d'Ige ( ige@chateauhotels.com ). It's south of Beaune right of the A6 (auto route du soleil) -the Tournus exit. It's not scary but does have turret rooms and windy staircases along with a fabulous restaurant.

Not scary,Jane? I wouldn't personally feel comfortable in the gothic Suite tour du Parc.
