Transportation from Beaune to Paris City Center

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out the best way to travel back from Beaune to Paris City Center.

I understand that the train will take off from Dijon to Paris GARE LYON However, what about the transport from Beaue to Dijon? What will be the best way and how long will it take? I would like to pre-purchase the train ticket online.

Thanks

There is no need to go to Dijon: there are trains from Beaune to Paris Gare de Lyon.

For the best prices, book direct with the train operator as far ahead as possible. Tickets go on sale 3 or 4 months before travel, and the cheapest tickets can sell out quickly. Prices keep going up as the travel date gets closer.

You can get train times and costs, and make bookings, in English at www.tgv-europe.com/en but use Antarctic as the "Ticket collection country" on the first screen to avoid the possibility of being transferred to RailEurope, which has higher prices and does not list all the trains. All the trains from Beaune stop in Dijon, it takes about half an hour.

The best way to do it is to take the train from Beaune to Dijon do not even think about driving from Beaune to Dijon until the tramworks are finished in September. Thebest choice is if you can find a through train from Beaune to Dijon.
