Our family of four (children 12 and 14) will be in the Lot/Dordogne area for 8 days beginning July 3. We do not have any particular health problems, but find if difficult to sleep if it is very warm at night.
I have seen some gorgeous properties, such as the Manoir de Malartrie, which do not have air conditioning. I am very tempted, but would not like to get there and find that we are all miserable due to lack of sleep.
Any advice on whether air conditioning is necessary in the Dordogne in July would be much appreciated!
