Bus Biarritz to San Sebastian

Ryanair arrives Biarritz 15.05 and the Pesa bus leaves for San Sebastian at 15.30. Is this intended to be a connection and if so can it be relied on?

It is not intended to be a connection. There is also the popular Ryanair flight from Dublin that lands at 15:30.

If the plane lands on time and you only have hand luggage then you might just be able to make it (assuming you are first off the plane).

From experience the Ryanair flights all land either on time or early.

Otherwise go by train. Check the link across to the right under ' Top Questions' Biarritz station is a few minutes from the airport by local bus or taxi.

Where does the 15.30 Pesa bus leave from? Somewhere near the airport terminal? We have the same concerns about making this as we get there at 15.05 from Stanstead.

First of all don't rely on a 25 minute connection as was said above. Too much to go wrong.

Should you be fortunate, it leaves from 'outside the terminal building' according to their website www.pesa.net/pesa/horarios/ctrl_horarios.php

It's the only one on any day in winter, so plan B is a bus or taxi to the station and then by train as described under 'Top Questions'.

The PESA stop is right outside the airport. When you walk out of the arrivals hall door, turn right and follow the edge of the terminal building. After the building ends (30 metres) you will see some large parking bays for buses on your right. This is where the PESA bus will be. There are usually others waiting around for the bus too.
