Tours of French Gothic?

We've been to France before but haven't had a chance to see more than a handful of the wonderful Gothic cathedrals and churches. We've visited Paris a couple of times and were enthralled by the Cathedral, churches and chapels there, and we've driven out to Chartres for the day, but we'd like to see Reims, Amiens, Bourges, Strasborg, etc. However, they are spread far and wide. Is there a tour company that specializes in Gothic church tours or should we just pick a few in one locale, see them on our own, and plan to come back for others later?

Why not just rent a car and spend a few days seeing them on your own? If you drop Strasbourg and Bourges you can make a couple of different bases not far from Paris and include Laon, Reims, Amiens, Senlis, Beauvais and Rouen. Then near to Rouen is the Route of the Abbeys with Jumiège, Saint-Wandrille etc.:

There are plenty of other abbeys and gothic edifices to explore along the way as well. It will cost a whole lot less than a tour to do this yourself too. If you've driven to Chartres before then getting around to any of these places is no more difficult than that.

I visited Amiens, Rouen and Reims on separate trips, all by train. I agree with the above recommendation of visiting them at your own pace.
