Special Birthday lunch - where's go now?

Hello,

I'm charged with booking a table for lunch to celebrate my friends birthday...and I'm lost with all the amazing looking choices.

It would need to be fairly central and don't mind paying a little more if it's worth it - we're both into all sorts of food so open to suggestions.

Thanks,

P

Hi,

My current city centre favourites:

63 Degrees

Bakerie

Gorilla

L'Entrecote

Browns

Grill on New York Street

The Alchemist (New York Street)

Dukes Grill

Albert's Shed

The Northern Quarter Restaurant

Hope that helps.

Cheers

Pete

For something different, Richmond Tea Rooms - Alice in wonderland style tea rooms, they do sarnies, soups and the best cakes ... MUST BOOK .. always busy :)

I like Pete's suggestions

I would add Swadesh for Indian and also like Piccolinos for Italian along with Gaucho and Grill on the Alley for Steak (not tried the New York Street one as yet)

I'd also throw in Bollywood Masala for a nice group meal (Indian) - had my birthday meal there a few months ago and have been going regularly since,

Gaucho grill - amazing food. I have been once and I can't wait to go again. It is expensive but amazing food. Have a look at their website. It is Argentinian food.

If you like italian then try San Carlos, again really good food,

Both are central and not far from one another,
