Which Casino is best?

Do you get any free drinks whilst playing tables and slots like in Vegas casino or do us brits have to pay for everything?

Manchester235 is the biggest, whether it's the best is a matter of opinion. It's certainly the closest you'll get to Vegas style in Manchester.

I don't THINK you're allowed to offer 'free' Vegas style drinks service in any UK casino.

I agree with Pete

You wont get free drinks anywhere in the UK at a casino, regardless of your nationality.

I would say Manchester 235 is biggest and best - depends though exactly what you are looking for

All public casinos in the UK are now the same...they're not allowed to give out free alcohol. They do give free soft drinks, coffees and sandwiches if you're gambling enough but I don't think that's going to be much of an incentive for you!

235 is a great casino...very plush, lively on the weekend and a couple of great bars and restaurants that are often full. But, the tables are also very expensive. On a weekend it's hard to find anything less than a £10.00 minimum blackjack table. They might have one £2.00 table but it will be packed out. Roulette is normally £1.00 a number. This can work out either very profitable or (far more likely) very expensive.

My personal favouite is the Circus casino on Portland Street just outside Chinatown underneath the Premier Inn (now run by Genting casino). This is almost as big as 235 but has slightly cheaper tables (a few £2.00 tables for blackjack and 50p roulette). There's a nice bar in there and they've just opened a new restaurant that's getting good reviews.

There are maybe three or four more smaller casinos in Chinatown. Some of these are quite small and dingy but cheap (£1.00 blackjack).

There are also quite a few casinos outside the city centre where you can park outside, Salford, Broughton, Cheetham Hill (the one in Cheetham Hill is very big with live music and entertainment), Didsbury.

I was in 235 this past weekend and there were a number of £2 min bet tables for blackjack.
