We are looking to spend NYE in Manchester. We are 2 couples so looking for luxury accomodation whether it be a hotel or apartment but really would like a shared living space. 2 bedrooms.

Looking for 2 nights 30/12-01/12

Off the top of my head 'The Light' is worth a look - they are appartment hotels right in the middle of town and very nice inside.

Probably the place I would choose would be the Great John Street Hotel. Its very nice and its got a quirky feel to it and would fit the luxury tag your after. Def give it a look! http://www.greatjohnstreet.co.uk/

Malmaison would also be good but very expensive.

Mint hotel is also suposed to be good although i've not been myself www.minthotel.com/our-hotels/manchester

Hotels tend to "jack up" their prices.

You can have a look at www.laterooms.com for a guide as to what the prices are for now.

As far as Luxury goes, I would add in the Midland, Raddisson Edwardian and the Lowry, but none will come cheap!
