Walking distance is about 2 miles; all the pubs are situated in the town.

There are usually shuttle buses between the Interchange (the Bus Station next to the Rail Station) and the Racecourse on race days.

Hi

The walk will take you about 1/2 hour. As barfin said most of the pubs are in town but there's The Salutation and The Regent about 10 minutes walk from the station, the Rockingham (I think it' still open!) is about 10 minutes before the racecourse as is the Earl Of Doncaster, though that's a hotel rather than a pub.

Hi I was thinking of attending a evening race with live music after at Doncaster but I am not sure which stand to choose, can anyone advice. I would like to see the stage and act if possible but was confused to where it would be outdoors.

The premier stand has its own balcony on the 3rd floor with balcony overlooking the course (good view of stage too) this room only lets 300 in so not as bad for buying drinks etc £55.00 for the ronan keating night
