Irish laundries and crystal

Lots of old info on this subject on your forum but wondering about updated info.

Will we easily find self-serve laundry facilities or drop off laundry services in Ireland this September, 2012? Our tour will take us from Shannon to Carrickmacross to Donegal to Westport and then to Connemara before returning to Shannon.

Also have read conflicting info on whether Waterford Crystal is still made in Ireland. If so, is there any reason to buy it in Waterford itself rather than the west coast shops? Am I assuming we will be able to purchase it in many places?

Try Celtic Crystal as an alternative to Waterford which would be too far away

Production in Waterford itself is no limited to special one off pieces, with all of the other Waterford pieces produced in other lower cost countries, so it can't be vaildly described as Irish crystal.

I'd go with Tony's suggestion
