Yeah, there was a great atmosphere around town today, especially with the rugby match as well.

The weather has really played it's part, even if the Munster team could not add to the festivities:-))

Good luck to everyone who is running tomorrow.

Hi wrappido, there has been a lot going on in Limerick over the past few weeks, but I don't know of anything special happening next week.

The Magners League semi-final is on in Thomond Park this Saturday evening, so there should be a good atmosphere at the weekend.

Beanalainn might know if there is anything else of interest going on.

Depends on the dates,

This is the Shannon region calendar but there will be other bits around and about that didn't make the list.

Hi Karahbella and Wrappido,

The Limerick International Music Festival is on from the 26th May to the 29th May and this is always a great event

Nothing collective that I'm aware of in the next week or so or at the end of June but here are some of the events in local venues (click on the relevant dates to see whats on):

Dolans: http://www.dolans.ie/event.php

University Concert Hall http://www.uch.ie/events.html

The Belltable www.belltable.ie/belltable-eventsbydate.php…

And also of course, the fabulous Milk Market milkmarketlimerick.ie/default/…

Enjoy.

I tend to forget about the Limerick festival with the Fledh on in Ennis at the same time but with both on the end of May is a great time to be in the Shannon region.

Galway County Fleadh starts tonight in Clifden (just thought I'd slip that in)
