Sonnys Bar (also called the Front Door) just up from Quay Street - food all day...great Chowder and chips, and lots of other choice. Nice ambience in pub also...try upstairs...has a smoking room!!

Hi, Front Door is good - pub grub but very good. Chowder is good. It really depends what you want. - type of meal, atmosphere, speed etc.

For something more formal - meat and two veg - you could go to the olde malte restaurant just off high street.

The Kings Head (which recently took over the olde malte) now does lunches (cooked in the olde malte kitchens).

KC Blakes does a good lunch - a bit more pricey than the others. Lemongrass - asian - also has a good lunch option.

Ard Bia - over Ti Neachtain - has a reputation for good lunches. I have only eaten there in the evening.

Hope this helps.
