Train Routes from Dublin to Galway or Clifden?

Where do you get tickets for the Trains running to Galway or Cliften? Should you buy them in advance? Can you just pick them up the day of travel? What station do you travel out of in Dublin?Or would a bus be better for that travel? Thanks.

No trains into Clifden, You would need one of the bus's from Galway, You can get the train Dublin to Galway and save a little booking in advance.

Heuston Station in Dublin is the departure point for services to Galway. It is about 2 miles west of the city centre and easily accessed by bus or Luas (tram) from the downtown area.
