young kids, one night, confort please

Hi

Am heading home next week and want to visit elderly relatives in Galway Mayo (do know where, one in Gort and the other in Mayo) and would, appreciate advice on stop over in Galway Mayo area. We have a 2 and 5 year old and would love a hotel which welcomes young kids and perhaps with indor pool but at least has gardens and is child friendly. rest of holiday will be staying with family so we can afford a little luxury (not a lot!). Would love to hear your ideas. We want to stop over and head to Mayo so anywhere en route from Gort would be good. We don't want a hotel which restricts kids from dining room as we will not want to lleave kids in room and we are likely to dine early anyway.

Renvyle House Hotel in the northern corner of Connemara almost ticks all the right boxes for you - most importantly it has a kids club and an early dining facility:

If you are visiting Gort why not stay the night at the Lady Gregory. You could give the kids a good run around in Coole Park. My other suggestion apart from Renvyle would be the Maldron which has a crèche and kids club.
