Ireland part of the Schengen area?

Hi, my name is Carlos and I'm a Honduran living in Germany. I'll be traveling to Dublin and we don't need a visa there. I would like to know if I still need to go throughout customs? Thank you.

Ireland is not part if the Schengen area, so you will have to go through immigration when you arrive at Dublin.
