Train from Dublin to Kilkenny

My hotel in Dublin is Ashling Hotel. Which I believe is very opposite Houston Station.

When checking catching the train from Dublin to Kilkenny, the option provided in the drop down box is

Heuston Station.

These station names are so similar.

1.Are they different stations? If so, which street is Heuston Station?

2. How far is the travel time Heuston Station from Ashling

Hotel, Parkgate Street Dublin 8.

thank you

It's Heuston Station (after the 1916 Easter Rising leader Sean Heuston) and not Houston Station. There is no Houston Station. It's about five minutes' walk across the river to Heuston Station - you can see it from the Ashling Hotel.
