Hellow, I will be in Ireland for 4 days of my grand european adventure. Does anyone know if my eurorail pass will work on getting around ireland or would it be better to purchase irish rail tickets for the locations i want to see?

I don't know whether your pass will work in Ireland but suggest you use the Irish Rail website to put your enquiry directly to them. The address is:

Go to "About Us" & then "Contact Us".

The website for the Northern Ireland website is as follows:

The services of both companies are integrated so you should be able to get info about both on each of the sites listed.

The rail service in Ireland is not that extensive (even less so in Northern Ireland) but many of the gaps are filled by the Bus Eireann company in the Republic and Ulsterbus in Northern Ireland. There are links to the bus services on the train websites also. Hope that this is of some help.
