Myself and 2 friends are visiting Dublin in July, can anyone recommend a budget central hotel (not hostel) that has triple rooms available?
This is one of the times that you really need to use a hotel booking site to see what's available in your budget. Come back to us with a shortlist of options when you've done that and we can help you decide.
July is in the heart of the busy season and to be honest triple rooms are in a high demand. Also in dublin there really is no such thing as a budget hotels. You will find most of hotels that are on the cheaper side wont have triple rooms. Just go onto www.trivago.ie and enter the date and room type to see what happends.
Temple bar hotels are party hotels so you may get the type there but they wont be cheap due to location
You should try airbnb.
In Malahide north of the airport with good public transport to the city centre, have a look at this one:
Avoca House B&B in Drumcondra is another option:
Egan's Guesthouse in Glasnevin. Breakfast not included in the price - available at additional cost:
The latter two are closer to the city centre on the main airport road.
The Dublin Leap Visit Card is good value for all your transport needs in the Greater Dublin area:
