I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, but does anyone know the best places to watch the Dublin marathon? My husband will be running. I'd love to see him in a few different spots.
My husband will be running the marathon as well, so would also love to know.
We plan on using bikes from the Dublinbikes stands to get around to several spots. Has anyone ever done this? How easy/hard would this be?
Last year we took the Luas green line to Milltown and cheered our runners there. Then we took the Luas back to Charlemont and walked along the canal to Mount Street Bridge, where we cheered our runners again on the final stretch.
The Luas was jammed with people both ways.Edited: 1:45 pm, October 17, 2017
My husband is running also. Asics have a Pace your Race feature which includes a personalised map showing estimated time a runner will pass each cheer zone. If you go onto SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon on Facebook there is link to it. Register now and collect at Expo in RDS on Friday or Saturday before race..
It might be useful for you
Enjoy the weekend
Thank you so much! Great info! So excited!!! :-)
