My husband and I are doing a bus tour of Ireland next month. We are arriving 2 days early and staying in Rathfeigh. We thought we'd explore Co Meath one day and Co Louth for our other free day. We will be renting a car. Our wishlist of places to see in Co Meath includes Four Knocks, Hill of Tara (a must), Hill of Slane, and Trim Castle. If time permits we would also love to go to Fore Abbey in Co Westmeath. In Co Louth we are looking at Monasterboice, Old Mellifont Abbey, St Brigid's Shrine and Well, and possibly Saint Mochta's House. As we are in our 60s and the tour is fast-paced, we don't want to over do it these 2 days. We probably won't be on our way to explore the first day before 11:00 with necessary arrival activities. The 2nd day we have the entire day free. We are trying not to go further than a 35-mile radius from Rathfeigh. Does this seem reasonable?
