Houston station

We just wanted to know if all parts of the station can be accessed without stairs, using ramps,or if another level lifts/elevators.

Thank you

Its very easily negotiated.

But its also called Heuston Station. Many of the stations in Ireland were called after leaders of the 1916 rising. Sean Heuston was one of them. Con Colbert was another (Limerick Railway Station).

The station itself is fine.

If you want to get to the station without steps, stick to the north side of the liffey as on the south side there are still some entrances that haven't been made wheelchair/buggy/wheeliecase friendly

No steps on the main entrance or the southside entrance blackgreen...all completely flat. There's also only one entrance on the south side? The one facing St Patrick's hospital...

My phrasing wasn't clear there. The station itself is fine, but as you walk down Victoria Quay, past the Guinness site some of the entrances to that are a problem. I know they fixed up the one closest to Watling St a few years ago, so maybe it has been addressed, but it was certainly still an issue last summer. There are no such problems on Wolfe Tone Quay across the river.

You should have no issue entering the station or getting to the platforms and on to trains. More information available here:
