We just wanted to know if all parts of the station can be accessed without stairs, using ramps,or if another level lifts/elevators.
Yup, it's on the flat.
The station itself is fine.
If you want to get to the station without steps, stick to the north side of the liffey as on the south side there are still some entrances that haven't been made wheelchair/buggy/wheeliecase friendly
No steps on the main entrance or the southside entrance blackgreen...all completely flat. There's also only one entrance on the south side? The one facing St Patrick's hospital...
My phrasing wasn't clear there. The station itself is fine, but as you walk down Victoria Quay, past the Guinness site some of the entrances to that are a problem. I know they fixed up the one closest to Watling St a few years ago, so maybe it has been addressed, but it was certainly still an issue last summer. There are no such problems on Wolfe Tone Quay across the river.
I knew the spelling.Autocorrect adjusted it and my senior citizen eyes did not notice until after it was posted.
As the great Mick Jagger said,"what a drag it is getting old"lol
We don't use wheelchairs.we sometimes walk with canes/sticks,but my wife's
Arthritis has gotten really bad.
Small steps are ok,but long flights of stairs are a problem
