What kind of food? Budget? I would recommend booking a 5pm deal online. Can think of loads of places but no idea if it is the type of place you are looking for?

Even somewhere down by George Sq way is still within 10-12 mins walk depending on the mobility of members of your party.

Try Banana Leaf in Cambridge Street. It's a Malaysian Restaurant with great food.

Thai Lemongrass is very close. it used to be really good but I think he standard has slipped slightly recently. My favourite restaurant in the area just now is Opium on Hope Street. It is really good, modern Chinese.
