Fast and Furious and Broomielaw

There will be road closures for the next few weeks from this weekend as Hollywood once again comes to town. This may impact some folks journeys as they cut about town.

The Broomielaw and surrounding streets is where the action is taking place. Not sure how easy it will be for the curious to take a peek at the action, though work is apace to set the scene for some car chase action already.

There was no need to go to all the trouble!!

Just set up a few hidden cameras on Sauchiehall/Renfield/Union St on a Friday/Saturday night and film the boy racers in their souped up corsas weaving in and out of the lanes and revving up between sets of lights every 200yds.

Only a matter of time before some innocent person on a night out steps out and thrown into the air, and the cops do nothing about it!!

Purple like New Yorkers we are used to big movies in our city.

Once you have seen one being made the novelty wears off ;-)
