Where would you bring your granny out for lunch!

Planning a day trip to Glasgow to see an elderly relative and trying to choose somewhere within an hour or so drive from the city for lunch. Need to have somewhere that's wheelchair accessible and have parking, European/steakhouse/Scottish food. Theres so much choice in the restaurant listings that I can't choose one. We've enjoyed trips to Duck Bay previously. Something similar would be great. Suggestions please.

Another vote for House for an Art Lover.Great value, loveliest lunch location in the city, IMO.

Within an hour, you also have Lochgreen House in Troon which is really lovely.Beautiful setting, friendly, very well done and a set lunch with plenty choices on offer.Tea and chocs afterwards in the country house styler lounge.

Ultra special for lunch, posh though it ain't cheap....Turnberry Hotel. On a fine weather day, a stunning drive if you go via the coastal road. About an hour's drive away.

Thank you for your suggestions.

House for an Art Lover sounds ideal.

Maybe Ill keep the other suggestions for when the days are longer and we can enjoy the scenery.
