Looking for a driver Edinburgh

Looking for driver to pick us up at hotel in Edinburgh to take us to Dalhousie Castle, and also to drive us around to see the sites, possibly a trip to St. Andrews. Does anyone know how to hire such a person. Should I contact the Dalhousie Castle?

Many mini-cab firms will be willing to offer customised tours if pre-arranged, paid for on a time + mileage basis. Use www.yell.com and search for minicabs in Edinburgh.

St Andrews (or at least Leuchars) is easily accessible by train from Edinburgh, so you might want to book a cab from Leuchars, depending on the number in your party.

www.haggisadventures.com offer these and other services (go to the tailor made section)They have a 5* rating for their tour services and have won many awards including the Scottish Thistle Award in 2005 (the highest accolade in Scottish Tourism, a bit like our Tourism Oscars). It may also be better value for money than hiring a minicab, the drivers will certainly be more knowledgable. Which hotel are you staying in? many of them offer pick up and drop of in chauffeur driven cars ans some also do tours, its worth checking.

Depending on how many are in your party I would suggest that you look at the website

andarach.com/executive-chauffeur-drive-taxi.…

It is a small family business and it will be cheaper to book them than go through Dalhousie Castle. They use an executive Volvo estate which can take four persons plus their luggage and they will easily do all the above. You can from their website contact them by email and make arrangements / or discuss your requirements.
