Help with weather advice

Hi, am hoping to travel to Edinburgh sometime mid-Fed and wondering if the weather will be real cold (snow possible?). Am preparing some clothing and need some advice please. Will be staying for about 2 weeks or so. Thanks in advance !

Its difficult to say - it is likely to be quite cold (down to zero C or thereabouts) - but could be quite a bit warmer - or wetter. Its best to come prepared for quick changes in weather - we just never know what we're going to get.

We don't usually get much snow - but you can't rule it out.

I would prepare for cold and possibly wet weather. As fifporter says you just never know what you will get.Today it is cold and very foggy, but the past few days have been below freezing but clear and sunny.

one thing, make sure you have a wind proof coat or jacket, because if it does get windy in febuary it will feel very cold indead.

If you are walking a lot in Edinburgh, sensible thick soled shoes with good grip are essential.
