hello!! Just wondering if there was a Tgi Fridays in Edinburugh, if so where abouts its located, Thanks
yes there is a tgi fridays in edinburgh- located on castle street in between princes street and george street- would not recommend it- food and service are hurrendous and there are far nicer places to eat and drink in that area.
I would agree with samcraig olts and lots of far far better places to have a drink and eat it.it's only because it is in the centre of town that people go to it,worst food and service I have had in many a year.
Hope your not going there soon. Castle street is a construction site at the moment. They are re-laying the street and its pretty messy. There are some really great restaurants in Edinburgh everything from fish n chips to sudanese, with lots of variety in between, even some good scottish food, if you want a fun theme then what about the Hard Rock Cafe or Monster Mash, I don't recommend TGI's either.
Thanks for your advice, me and some of my friends are going there the weekend before xmas to celebrate a friends 21st and we wanted somewhere where everybody would like the food, and we could have some fun ordering cockatails etc.. whats monsters mash, and where is the hard rock cafe located?
Hard Rock Cafe
You can get priority seating and jump the queue from the site.
the Hard Rock cafe in in George street right in the centre of town and is Highly reccommended.Monster mash is more of a resturant style place in Forest road specialising in Sausage & mash, never been but have heard good reports, they are opening or have opened another place in the city but I am not sure where it is.
As its a 21st recommend monster mash for breakfast next day, its great for hangovers, don't go there for cocktails though, its too basic for that (sort of themed round the beano, dandy and 60's style greasy spoons but with better food). As its before Christmas there is bungy and carousels and a fair in the gardens, also the ice rink is great fun. If you want to meet some people your own age head for the studently areas around the Cowgate (but keep together late at night), the seven sisters is always good fun and there's dancing upstairs (usually free to get in), also try some of the bars at the Omni centre. There is also a good serious club scene in Edinburgh but I am not into clubbing so maybe someone else can recommend. C C Blooms do great cocktails, its a gay bar but welcomes singles too. Groups are not always welcome everywhere and the doormen can be strict with anything that looks like a hen party or stag do.
Sorry that should have read that CC's welcomes straight people too.
Ok, thats great have to try and check it out!!
Am getting quite excited now. Roll on christmas time!!!!!
