edinburgh to dundee on the train

hello - how long would a train trip from edinburgh to dundee take, are the trains regular to there and back on a sunday?

been a while since I went to Dundee by train but reckon on 90 minutes - 2 hours for the journey depending on which route it takes.

Trains should be fairly regular but more reduced service on a Sunday which is also the day they tend to do track work so there may be delays /diversions because of that.

As long as you don't get a Fife commuter train which makes a lot of local stops it should be no more than 90 minutes.
