just a short time in Dundee early March

Please does anyone have suggestions what to do in Dundee for Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Sunday morning (5th, 6th and 7th March). Like walking and outdoor activities (weather permitting). Staying at Hilton, Earl Grey Place DD1.

take the bus/car to St. Andrews - walk the Sands, on Sunday walk the Old Course.

earlier stop is at Tentsmuir sands nature reserve, woodland & sand dunes - see if you can spot a red squirrel or two

take the bus/car to the Angus Glens, need proper walking gear though as it could be rather cold/snow on the ground. Great walking at the Corrie Fee at the foot of Glen Clova

to go dolphin watching (not sure this is the right time of year)

Walk up to Dundee Law - bit steep, but great views over the Tay estuary

Dundee council has a What's On page on its website. You may get some ideas there for activities. Dundee also has Ambassadors to help visitors to the city who want to know more about the area.

A walk along the High Street will let you see the shops and admire the statues of D.C. Thomson characters. Scotia Heritage is the only guided walk that I know of in the city if you're interested in its history, and, as someone has already said, the Angus Glens are glorious (but cold in March). Hope that helps.
