Dining in Aberdeen

I'll be staying at the Marcliffe while on a golf trip in mid August. We'll be dining at the hotel one night but on our own the other. We will be looking, most likely, for fine dining, but a fun atmosphere would also be helpful ( we are actually very well-behaved) Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

The Silver Darling is good and for more of a fun atmosphere I liked Amore (Italian).

I’m not sure fine dining and fun atmosphere tend to go together!

Here are Aberdeen restaurants by category, including fine dining -

There’s also a new Millar & Carter if steak is your thing. Not fine dining but a firm favourite recommended time and again is the Nargile on Skene Street- if Turkish appeals.
