We'll be spending a week in Antrim in early August and want to spend a day visiting Derry. Our main plan while we're there is to walk to the walls and visit the Tower Museum (and generally just enjoy the city, so any suggestions will be gratefully received!).
We'll be travelling in two separate cars due to numbers in our group so need to plan car parking in Derry before we set out so we can meet up on arrival. Does anyone have any suggestions for convenient parking in the city centre, reasonably close to the attractions we want to visit? Cost within reason isn't an issue for us.
Also, one of our group is an elderly woman who is reasonably mobile but who is a little concerned about walking the walls. Any general advice on the terrain and whether it's likely to be too challenging for her?
Many thanks - we're really looking forward to our visit!
