Dog friendly accommodation

Hiya to all

I hope to visit Ireland this summer and wondered if someone could give me advice on dog freindly accommodation. The area I intend to visit is Banbridge -- Newry.

I tried on the web with not much luck.

Any advice would be appreciated

If you go on the holiday cottage sites such as 'welcome' and 'country cottages', they usually have details of 'dog-friendly' accommodation.

Try these sites:

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the sites but on a quick look there doesn't seem to be anything in county down. i'm sure there must be. I'll give it another try later.

Thanks once again

This site may help you - www.petplanet.co.uk/travel_listings.asp. Alternatively, find the local tourist office & give them a call or email them for a list of pet friendly accommodation.

Good Luck!

Hi There,

I've found a couple of self catering places around Banbridge who welcome pets:

www.golfkeel.co.uk - the brochure mentions that pets can be accommodated outside

www.fernhilllodge.co.uk - pets allowed by prior arrangement

I'll keep looking, but hopefully these will get you started!

Best Wishes
