Bars and Restaurants at New Year

We are coming to Belfast on the 30th till the 2nd January, can anyone recommend any good bars for over 40's (don't mind loud music etc), not concerned about New Year's Eve as we have plans but certainly looking for a decent place to go the other nights.

Also looking for suggestions for a nice traditional Irish restaurant to visit too?

Finally, seen the Nu Delhi website, is this worth a visit?

For bars, there are many that would suit, Benedicts, Kellys cellars, The duke of York, Madisions,.Fibber ,

For Restaurants Mourne sea food,Deans, James St south,Tedfords Made in Belfast,

If you want lunch try Whites tavern,

For Indian Safa is hard to beat.

Agreed that all the pubs Bobby mentioned are good. If you have a bit of a rock/indie soul, you could also try the Spaniard in the Cathedral Quarter or the Empire on Botanic Avenue.

I haven't been to Nu Delhi myself but a friend wasn't very impressed when she went. We often go to Gingeroot nearby instead, but Safa is nice too.

For traditional Irish, pubs are probably your best option. Benedicts was lovely last time I ate there.
