Good Hotel in Belfast

I will be visiting Belfast Dec 18-28 Can anyone recommend a good Hotel or Apartment Five years ago we stayed in Madisons on Botanic Ave - it was great - except room was really small. Also recommend fun, good food restaurants. Thanks!

Hi we stayed at the Malone lodge hotel June 06 it is walking distance from downtown. Its a fair walk. The cost of this hotel was great we stayed in a corner room which was great. Not sure about the others. They also have apartments next door. The food was good . Had a parking lot in back included in cost. We enjoyed it and it was in a nice neighbourhood. They have a web site. This hotel is on englantine near the botanic gardens.

Hope you have a great time.

Definitely the Ramada - it is a bit further out, but taxis are quite cheap here. Service is top class, rooms are great and the restaurant is fab.

my advise is to go for either the radisson or hilton, ive stayed in both and they are top notch. the problem with ten square is that it's very expensive!

The Travelodge / Jurys Inn / in Belfast are ideally located and are basic . Malmaison is superb if a little expensive !! Ten Square is very pretentious !!

We recently stayed at Benedict's Hotel, Shaftesbury Square, (so quite central), and can recommend it. The rooms are really luxurious, fabulous bed, lovely decor. It's rated three star but the rooms are more four star.... an "Executive" room, which is really big, with a spa bath, costs £85 per night including breakfast but I think you can get a regular double for around £60? The staff is really nice there and restaurant is quite good. Only draw-back was the noise from the bar/disco late at night, but maybe you'll be in there!?
