Things to do in Gower nr Oxwich

Hi,

I'm camping at Greenways (oxwich) in a couple weeks time and just trying to get an idea of what to do when we are there. Ideally the weather will be great so we can go to the beach, however which the british weather its always good to have a back up plan.

So looking for some recommendations? Firstly any recommendations what to do with 2 and 4 year old kids during the day(farms, play areas?)

Also can anyone recommend is child friendly restaurants or pubs in and around the areas. We have a duty driver so we can travel :)

Many thanks

Adam

Hope the weather will be kind to you but here are some suggestions if it isn't,

On Gower there is the Heritage Centre: http://www.gowerheritagecentre.co.uk/main.htm and Perriswood Archery and Falconry Centre: http://www.perriswood.com/

there are some family friendly activities here:

It's not too far into Swansea so you can go swimming at the LC2, or to the cinema if it rains.

Visit Mumbles and go on the landtrain, visit Oystermouth Castle.

Lots of lovely ice cream parlours, pubs and coffee shops in Mumbles plus a playground, and a play area/lido at Blackpill

Lots of pubs on the Gower - Gower Inn, Greyhound, King Arthur. In Oxwich itself you have the Oxwich Bay Hotel, which does lovely food.

In short - there's lots to do come rain or shine :)
