Proper Sunday Dinner

Hello,

I'm looking for a warm, cozy place to stay dry while having a few pints and enjoying a nice Sunday dinner with my fiancé. We are staying at Caswell Bay and have a car. Any recommendations in Swansea, Mumbles and Caswell Bay would be much appreciated. Just looking for your personal favorites and why you love them.

Thanks,

Ryan

Drive out to Llangennith and go to the Kings Arms, lovely pub, great food and nice village. If it takes your fancy and weather holds you can walk down to the incredible beach.

Was this for today? If so, what did you do? I've always liked the Sunday roasts in the Valley in Bishopston, a short drive from Caswell Bay. Nearby is the Plough and Harrow in Murton, a proper gastropub, and the Beuafort Arms in Kittle, though I haven't been in there for many years now.

I know this is an old thread but the Mermaid in Mumbles is great.
