unusual or less well known attractions....

Ok, I live in Coventry and have visited pretty much all of the obvious places in a 20-30 mile radius of where i live. Now I have just 4 months left of maternity leave I'd like to spend it constructively. Are there any less well known places I could go (with my 3 month old). Please don't suggest warwick/kenilworth castles and most of Stratfords attractions as I've done them numerous times.... so to stretch you imaginations what is left? I've started to run out of ideas myself!

Why don't you list all the attractions you've been to?

That would be a useful list for new visitors, and also we could use it to save recommending places you've already visited.

Fitting both unusual and less well known are the flight of locks on the Grand Union canal at Hatton. Very impressive sight and interesting to see the boaters using the locks.

I could recommend the moated manor house at Baddesley Clinton but for all I know you may have already been there or it could be an 'obvious place' or unsuitable for a 3 month old, etc, etc, so like Dave says, more information, please.

Have you been to The National Herb Centre at Warmington, or Compton Verney art gallery near Kineton?

Hi

Have a look at the map on the National Trust website - places like Hidcote are about 30 miles away.

Another plus is that most properties have baby-changing facilities and baby-friendly restaurants.
