Yes, mainly, but the road is, literally, the river bank all theway to the actual Bridge.
However, it's only about 600 yds from the Hotel to the first pub and that is mostly off road ...
Yes no problem, go out of the hotel and turn right. The road pretty much runs along the river.
The walk is partly along the road and partly through the park, but both the park and the road are riverside.
Hi, I'm local. I'd recommend crossing the Iron Bridge from the town and turn left. You'll go along the old railway track and pass Jackfield. There are some lovely sites down here, a few lovely village pubs, and a great sense of history. I love The Boat Inn at Jackfield for example. Go far enough and you'll see some very well kept railway stations, one of which has got some old carriages. it's a lovely walk any time of year.
