What prices for food and drinks are to be expected on the festival site?

Best place to get feedback on these questions is on the Facebook page for Rewind Festival, but we went in 2011 and were camping, so took most of what we needed with us. However you can't take any drinks into the arena with you, so we found that beer / cider was £4 per bottle. We're back there this summer , so we'll wait and see if the prices have changed! I personally didn't think £4 was that bad for a captive audience

Pizza, burgers, paella, fish and chips, noodles, pies and basic curry.

All quick slap up food with prices from £4.50-£10 but most things i had over the weekend were good enough.

The choice of alcohol is very limited at the main bars.

£4.50 for Tubor lager or Summersby's cider which both are poor quality drinks. You were £6 for pre-mixed cans of Vodka and cranberry, gin and tonic or wine.

Bottled water was £2.50 at most stalls.

Hi.

We are first timers to the 80's Rewind Festival this month. We're staying at the Premier Inn, Marlow. Can anyone tell us if taxi is the best way to travel there and back or can you offer alternative travel tips (preferably the quickest way back to the Inn each night without too much walking). Thanks in advance.

Hi Tumblekins, are you sure that it is a Premier Inn you are staying in? There isn't one in Marlow tha closet ones are High Wycombe and Slough? Please confirm location of where your staying and then more accurate advice can be given about transport.

Apologies, I sometimes work in Marlow and visit fairly frequently and I had no idea that was there! This is central to Marlow High Street so a central location to ask a taxi to collect you from. Maybe wise to book the taxi that takes you to collect At a particular time from an agreed location as it will be very busy and difficult to hail a taxi back again. Distance between Marlow and Henley is only a few miles so shouldn't be too expensive however traffic will be very busy and slow so probably worth agreeing price in advance rather than relying on a meter.

Welcome along ..... fifth year for us! Yes, the arena drinks are more expensive than your local supermarket, but the food from the various vendors is good quality and much needed after hours of dancing to the great eighties music! Don't forget to take something fancy dress, from a splash of neon to any of the great 80s costumes (think Green Goddess, Rubiks Cube or Miami Vice) - the majority of people dress to impress to some degree and you won't want to feel left out! See you next weekend!

First timer this year also... Couldn't get a hotel nearby so have had to resort to Reading. Lets hope the weather holds up!
