Afternoon tea in Norwich

Does anyone know of anywhere nice in or near Norwich for a traditional afternoon/cream tea?

Cafe 91 in Upper St Giles Street is lovely - wonderful cakes.

A bit further afield, Brief Encounter at Wymondham train station is gorgeous - only open till 3 pm I think though.

I understand that they also do afternoon tea at the Refectory in the Cathedral grounds.

For a proper afternoon tea feeling (cake stands, finger sandwiches etc), your best bett is probably the Assembly Rooms near the Theatre Royal.

I hope this helps, Teresa :)

Another lovely little place is the Cherryleaf on St Giles Street. A good variety of teas. large scones and home made cakes.
