Where are you flying from? London City is good, but not if you are flying from somewhere that doesn't land there!!!

where are you flying in from ?

London City is the best by far

Can you fly into there from where you are ?

Where are you staying in London ?

central London as in Zone 1 or Zone 1 and 2 as on the Transport for London zones ?

Mayfair as central ?

If you are flying from the eastern US your choices to fly direct are most likely Heathrow or Gatwick. Heathrow has the Piccadilly tube line which gets you to various places in central London in 45-60 minutes. Gatwick has train services to various stations in central London with about the same travel time, maybe a few minutes longer.
