Premium Tours - Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover, et al...

Has anyone ever taken this tour called "LEEDS CASTLE, CANTERBURY, DOVER, GREENWICH and THAMES RIVER CRUISE" or have experience with Premium Tours? This sounds like a great way to see some thing we're interested in.

We really want to see Windsor but don't want it combined with a tour to Bath or Stonehenge as we're doing those things on our own.

I did not see that tour offered on Premium Tours' website.

How long is the tour, SUrely not one day. That should be two days....and you need to find out how long you at each place.

Sounds like the first three places are one tour and the last two another. All the major companies (Golden, Evan Evans, Premium) offer Leeds, Canterbury & Dover in one form or another. I would take just take that and do Greenwich on your own.

haven't made it to Leeds yet, but every place you have mentioned we have been to. Did them all on our own. I find it much more adventurous and rewarding. The Tube and Docklands Light Rail gets you to Greenwich. A short train ride from Waterloo gets you to Windsor. Every town outside of London we ever went o had the train station centrally located. Any point of interest was an easy and interesting walk. We don't care for guided tours save the Verger tour in Westminster Abbey, and the Beefeater tour at the Tower. Of course everyone is different. Just putting in my two cents. Cheers, Pub

It is actually all in one day

I'm not sure how they cram it all in as from what you all are saying, its much too much for one day.

Premium Tours only started up less than two years ago. They market their tours differently, in as much as they cram alot in but also arrive back in London around 9pm, a good three hours or so after Evans, Golden, etc come back. They are much longer days and that is how they do the special visit to the Roman Baths after it has closed to the general public, the same with Stonehenge or Christ Church, Oxford.

Don't plan an evening event as you'll not get back in time for it.

Our family was thinking of taking the Bestvalues tour of Leeds, Cantebury and Dover. They don't give you that many details though. Has anyone taken their tours before? It seems like the most efficient way to see all three sights in one day, but we have never taken a group tour before. Our kids are 11 and 14. Any input would be helpful.

Hi Copperfield.

This company offers very similar tours to Evan Evans and Golden Tours. Prices are roughly the same. I haven't used them before. Anyone else?

Premium seem to offer slightly longer day tours whilst Astral specialise in smaller number using mini-buses which mean that they can go to places that bigger coaches can'tr get to.

Hope that helps,
