According to Wikipedia "There were at least eight outlets in the UK: four in London; one at the Merry Hill Shopping Centre; one in Glasgow; one in Aberdeen; one in Bangor, Northern Ireland; and one in Birmingham city centre. All were closed down because of low sales in 2002.

The article also suggests that an announcement was made in August indicating they were looking to re-enter the UK market - …wikipedia.org/wiki/…Global_locations

Krispy Kreme is sold within various Tesco stores and a few others.

But Krispy Kreme is not Dunkin Donuts! Both are donut shops but the donuts are completely different.

The poster should go to New Jersey where there is a DD on every street corner, or maybe Seoul where there are almost as many.

There were a bunch in Berlin too. Seemed like I saw one every time I turned around. I don't recall seeing one in London though.

I think there may be one in or near the Trocadero, but they've been edged out by Krispy Kreme and chains here like Gregg, Sainsbury and Tesco bake their own, cheaper ones (not as wide a range). Like Pillsbury which has tried and failed to enter the market here, they keep on getting squeezed out.

There used to be a donut shop at Piccadilly Circus - on the corner past the tube (by the large Boots), but before you got to the Piccadilly Theatre. Can't remember if it was a Dunkin Donuts place or not.

I think there used to be one in King's Cross, but as it isn't the type of place I'd go into I wouldn't know if it's still there. My local baker in Islington makes lovely doughnuts, so am sure there are other independent bakers in London who also do.

I don't understand why anyone would ask a daft question like this before visiting London. How could a visit to Dunkin Donuts enhance a London experience.

Maybe they like doughnuts?
