luggage storage at Victoria Station?

Hello,

We will be flying into Gatwick from Inverness, arriving in London at 10:45am on a Sunday. Our flight to Hong Kong leaves the same day at 9pm. So we have a bit of time to kill...

I think from Gatwick there is a train that will take us to Victoria Station. Just wondering if there is a place where we can leave our luggage while we spend the rest of the day exploring London before our evening flight to HK?

Thanks!!

Make sure you DON'T get the Gatwick Express from Gatwick to Victoria - it is a lot more expensive than Southern and only a few minutes faster.

In terms of left luggage, why don't you leave it at Gatwick (or is your Hong Kong flight from Heathrow?). This firm may be able to help:

the left luggage at the Victoria Coach Station is much cheaper than at the railway station. It's only a short walk along Buckingham Palace Road

for a few hours, every minute is precious. Don't bother going to Victoria Coach Station in order to save a few pounds

Thanks for all your advice! Unfortunately we are flying to HK via Heathrow, so we will have to lug our bags with us from Gatwick.

Much appreciated!!

There is luggage storage at Victoria Station at Platform 8. Your train from Gatwick will arrive at one of the platforms between 13 and 19, depending on whether you catch a Gatwick Express train or a Southern train from Gatwick. When you come out of the ticket barriers, turn right and make your way to Platform 8 (on the other side of the big WH Smith store). The cost is £8.50 per bag for the first 24 hours.

Hi, I was wondering are the checkin desks still in existence for Heathrow at Paddington (Do they take luggage?), and whether you could get the luggage checked in for your flight at the start of the day so they can be kept for less cost? As well as meaning the luggae is ready for the flight when you get to Heathrow.

I don't know if this is possible but might be worth checking.

Some airlines have check-in at Paddington Station, but won't take your luggage. The list of airlines can be found here:

Wow, that's really great info!! But alas, no such luck... will be flying Air NewZealand! So we will just have to store our bags for the day and head out to Heathrow for a timely check in! :)

Thanks!

Can you store luggage at the Victoria coach station for more than 24 hours? We are going to Morocco for six days and do not want to risk losing our luggage on Royal Air Maroc. I think it's best to just take a carry-on. So, any suggestions for storing luggage (two large suitcases) for six days? We fly out of Gatwick but fly back into Heathrow. Thanks!

You can but it will be VERY expensive as the rate is per 24 hours - no sliding scale
