If you'll be in London before Jan. 8th, you might want to stop by the Serpentine Gallery to check out this exhibit. Sounds like a good one!
First-timers may not know, but this little gallery is the perfect place to visit after a long flight and if you're walking through Hyde Park while waiting for your hotel room to be ready. It's quiet, not crowded, and has restrooms and a book/gift shop.
Here's an excerpt from their website:
For their exhibition at the Serpentine, the Kabakovs have designed a new installation that responds to the tranquillity of the Gallery’s setting within Kensington Gardens. In The House of Dreams, they will transform the Gallery by creating a series of distinct meditative spaces, and encourage visitors to enter into a world of fantasy and daydreams. The installation is a place for rest and quiet contemplation.
