Not a bad offer at all, M+S do some very nice sandwiches. I think Benjy's could have equalled that deal in their day, but the sandwiches were not as good, and I've seen a lot of closed down Benjy's shops. I think they mat even have folded.

Good spot.

I can recommend the Walkers and Waitrose reduced fat versions as quite tasty.

M&S now offer a strawberry jam sarnie for just 75p, in case anyone is in the mood for a bit of comfort food.

"what is a crisp?"

Here in the U.S. we call them chips (as in potato chips). In the UK chips are what we call french fries.

This is a great offer, but worth knowing the sandwiches available are fairly limited.

It's either ham, cheese, egg, jam, prawn mayo etc. with not much filling. And the bread is bog standard white bread. They remind me of sandwiches I had in my lunchbox when I was at school and are pretty no frills, but it's still very good value.

I think the Boots Meal Deal is pretty good value - decent choice of sandwiches, snacks and drinks for £2.99. And available in all Boots that sell food.
